I discovered my her love of photography at the tender age of 14 (now 38!!) when i was picked to be part of a school photography class. I continued to study photography through to degree level and then worked in the industry as a freelance assistant throughout Manchester, before discovering that weddings and glamour portraiture were my true passions.Black Books was born from my love of photographing women... It then naturally flowed into boudoir photography.

Andree

Make up artist and stylist Andree has over 20 years experience too. She first trained as a hairdresser and then moved into the world of photographic make up in her early twenties. Andree has worked with me on weddings, model portfolio shoots, and Black Books from day one.

 Rachel

I've been working with Rachel for over two years. She's a qualified hairdresser and media make up artist. She has worked for Bobbi Brown, Dior and Mac. Now a freelance stylist she works on TV, fashion and bridal projects.
